I was asked to photograph some of the officials from the New Hope Association . Below are some of the portraits captured.

Dr. Rita L. Joyner
It’s not everyday that you have the opportunity to photograph a person that has just received their P.H.D. Dr. Rita L. Joyner asked me to photograph her after she received her P.H.D from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.  She is an inspiration to both children and adults who are currently pursuing degrees at all different levels.
Chris, his sister, daughter and nieces – Portraits
Joy, laughter and love are the spice of life. On this shoot with Chris & his family just out of nowhere the sibling (fun) rivalry kicked up into 1st gear. While I was trying to get them into position for the portrait a little loving harassment just exploded onto the scene.  Its nice to see two siblings that understanding the importance of playing. As adults sometimes we get too caught up into what is going on and we can become stoic and serious. These two started to cut up and below what you see is fun taking place at its most pure level. Chris, I also still harass my sisters.. it is our duty as a brother.

Diondra’s Formal Prom Pictures – Duke Gardens
This afternoon, in between rain showers, I had the opportunity to capture the formal prom pictures for Diondra and her date. The location was Duke Gardens and the shoot went quickly. When I pulled into the parking lot it was raining. I prayed and asked God to hold the rain long enough for the shoot and long enough so that my equipment didn’t get fried.
The rain held…
God still answers prayers and he’s done that on several occassions where a shoot was involved.
Little Leslie
This morning I had the chance to capture little Leslie. She was a bundle of joy and this little girl loves to giggle.  She like cookies and ice cream like most children. She also loves the camera.
Julian Guthrie – Senior Shoot
Julian Guthrie is a senior at Hillside Highschool and he plays the snare drum.  Julian asked if I would take his senior photos with his band uniform. I was seriously excited about the opportunity because there were so many different directions that we could take this shoot.  The first image that came into my mind was Julian drumming on a drum with water going everywhere.  In my mind, this shoot was divided into two logical sections.
Â
1. A shoot for Julian and I.
2. A shoot for the parents and family.
Here I present to you Julian Guthrie graduating with the class of 2009.
Teen Farmer
Today I had a request to capture a picture from the Farmers. This was a really quick operation and their daughter worked very well with the camera. When everything was said and done I think the entire shoot took about 7 minutes.

The Taylor Family
On Sunday afternoon I was invited to visit with the Taylor Family.  They wanted some family portraits taken. Our original plan of meeting at a really nice park was prevented due to the threat of rain. Therefore, we found a setting near their home and we also converted their family room into a studio so we could continue taking pictures if it rained. Well, as it turns out it started to rain so we headed inside to finish the shoot.
Camryn Rose – 1 Year Old Photoshoot
Today I had the chance to photography baby girl Camryn Rose. She is now 1 year of age. We took her out to Duke Gardens away from the normal beaten path. We were able to capture these memories of one of the most adorable little girls. Below are a few portraits from our session today.
The Harvey Family
Capturing memories of family members whether in the studio or via candid photos is very important. These images will show generations the memories that made up out lives at a particular place in time. This past week I took family portraits fro the Harvey Family and you can see some of their images below.
