Takeila & Charleston’s Wedding – April 4, 2009

On Saturday April 4th, 2009 I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Takeila & Charleston.Â During the process of taking pictures I quickly started to feel like family with the other vendors because we had some healthy/fun trash talking going back and forth.Â At one point during the shoot the cake vendor playfully told me that she was coming over to make sure that I didn’t knock her cake over. At that point in time I said that it was a good thing that she was keeping check because I had already knocked over two cloth napkins… and yes I picked them back up.. they were getting in the way of the table flower shot.

In the end we had a fun time and many precious memories were captured.Â Below are a few pictures from the the events that took place.

I’m looking forward to interaction with Takeila & Charleston more in the future because they have become friends through this process of getting to know each other.

NC Fashion Week

On Monday of this week I received a call asking if was going to come do some photography at NC Fashion Week.Â My response was… no, I hadn’t planned on it.Â I was asked to come out this Thursday to Gregory’s of Cary to help capture some of the models on the premesis.Â Â I had planned to just relax and chill out on Thursday but this was an opportunity that I could not pass up.Â Â I packed up a couple of lights and headed out to Cary to do what I love doing.Â

I had lots of fun interacting with the models and just trying to capture them in the way my mind’s eye saw them.Â The most challenging part was telling them which pose I wanted and trying to capture “The Look” that they had at that particular time.
